Fresh off a monumental album release, Álvaro Díaz is officially taking his cinematic sound on the road. The three time Latin Grammy nominated artist has announced his highly anticipated Omakase Tour, a thirty three city trek that promises to bring his most ambitious live production to date across both the United States and Latin America.
The announcement follows the explosive success of his latest studio album, which arrived via Universal Music Latino. Named after the traditional Japanese dining concept where the chef completely controls the menu, the record functions as a carefully curated sonic experience. Díaz masterfully blends unexpected textures and genre defying sounds, a creative attention to detail that fans can expect to see translated directly onto the concert stage.
The project has already transformed into a certified global phenomenon. Upon release, it secured the top spot on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global chart. It also captured the number one position in more than sixteen countries, finding massive success in regions like Mexico and Colombia. The record features heavy hitting collaborations with prominent figures including Tainy, Akrilla, Jesse Báez, RUBI, and Latin Mafia, further establishing Díaz as a leading voice of the new generation of Latin music.
Promoted by Live Nation, the North American leg of the tour kicks off in Chicago on October 14 at the Riviera Theatre. The multi city journey will hit iconic performance venues including the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, the Tabernacle in Atlanta, and The Fillmore in Miami Beach. The tour wraps up its current run on November 7 at the San Jose Civic in California. Presales launch early in the week, with general ticket sales opening to the public on Thursday, June 11 at 10 am local time through the official Live Nation website.
