China’s consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense is connecting televisions by adding the Spotify subscription music and podcast streaming app. Spotify remains the world’s largest subscription music streaming service, reporting 761 million users, including 293 million subscribers across 184 markets.
“It’s no secret that smart TVs are becoming the hub for home entertainment, with consumers increasingly turning to the silver screen for streaming content,” said Rob Andrews, head of strategy and go-to-market at Hisense U.K.
The app is available on VIDAA-powered Hisense Smart TVs globally, launching on TVs that can reach millions of households worldwide.
