Five of Wednesday’s performers will join forces for a tribute to Juan Gabriel, ten years after his death. The show airs live tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Peacock.
Three days of rehearsals, one stage, and tonight it all goes live.
On Wednesday (Oct. 21), Ha*Ash, Pablo Alborán, RIZA, Jessi Uribe, Paola Jara, Yahritza y Su Esencia, Carlos Rivera, Nanpa Básico, Melymel and Nella took the stage at the James L. Knight Center in Miami for their final rehearsals ahead of the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The ceremony airs live tonight, Thursday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Peacock.
Half of Wednesday’s lineup is preparing the same moment. Carlos Rivera, Jessi Uribe, Pablo Alborán, Paola Jara and Yahritza y Su Esencia will perform a tribute to Juan Gabriel, who died 10 years ago, in August 2016. It is a generational mix: a Mexican pop star, a Colombian couple who sing together, a Spanish balladeer and a sibling trio whose debut album came out this year.
Ha*Ash, the Mexican-American sister duo and former RYM cover stars, will share the stage with this year’s Lifetime Achievement honoree, Cristian Castro. Jessi Uribe and Paola Jara come in fresh off Despecho a 2 voces, their joint 2026 album, while Carlos Rivera brings Vida México, his 2026 album.
RIZA, the Filipino-Cuban artist who blends pop, jazz, folk and R&B, will perform with Pablo Alborán as she works on her debut album, Avalon. Nanpa Básico, the Colombian rapper, and Melymel, the Dominican rapper known as “La Mamá del Rap,” both perform on the night. Nella and Nanpa Básico also join José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma” in a segment on disaster awareness.

Four special honorees will be celebrated tonight: Rosalía (Billboard Hall of Fame), Rubén Blades (Billboard Icon Award), Cristian Castro (Lifetime Achievement Award) and Fuerza Regida (Billboard Vanguard Award). Peso Pluma leads this year’s finalists with 17 nods. And for the first time, fans pick a winner: the new Fan Artist award, with voting open until about 7 p.m. ET.
Earlier this week, SANTOS BRAVOS, Kapo, Manuel Turizo, Fuerza Regida and Chuyin rehearsed on Monday, and Tito Double P, Xavi, Wisin, Ivy Queen and others on Tuesday.
Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza host the show live from the James L. Knight Center in Miami tonight at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. Central) on Telemundo and Peacock, with live blue carpet coverage from 7 p.m. ET. It also airs on Universo and the Telemundo app, and across Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
The rehearsals are over. Tonight, Latin music’s biggest night begins.
