The Top Contenders
Bad Bunny’s 27 nods put him in the running for prestigious awards like Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. The nominations also recognize his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos as a finalist for Top Latin Album of the Year.
Fuerza Regida’s 15 nominations include mentions for Artist of the Year and Top Regional Mexican Album of the Year for 111XPANTIA. Rauw Alejandro is a finalist in top categories like Tour of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Yearfor Cosa Nuestra.
Among the female artists, Karol G’s song “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” received five nods, including for Latin Airplay Song of the Year. Tito Double P’s album Incómodo is a finalist for Top Latin Album of the Year, while Peso Pluma is a contender for Artist of the Year and Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year.
The Awards and Latin Music Week
The 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards will broadcast live from the James L. Knight Center in Miami on Telemundo on October 23 at 8 p.m. ET. The winners are determined by a performance-based system, reflecting fan interactions with music over the past year, including streaming, sales, radio airplay, and touring.
The awards coincide with Billboard Latin Music Week, which returns to Miami Beach from October 20-24. The event will feature a roster of star speakers, including Kali Uchis, Daddy Yankee, Xavi, and more, offering fans and industry professionals an unparalleled look into the world of Latin music.
