A New Halloween Musical
Halloween is around the corner, and fittingly, Disney has released the trailer for their upcoming 12-episode musical series “Vampirina: Teenage Vampire,” to usher in the season of scares on October 10, with all episodes streaming by October 15 on Disney+ and Disney Channel on Demand.
And for an additional sneak peak, the first single from the series’ soundtrack, “S-L-A-Y,” will be available later this week on September 12. The complete soundtrack will release the same day as the show, and will feature 14 songs total.

Plot and Cast Details
The series, produced by “Julie and the Phantoms” creators Dan Cross and David Hoge, follows the plot of the popular book series and animated show of the same name. Vee (Kenzi Richardson), an edgy tween vampire, goes to a boarding school to hone her musical talent. However, her overbearing father (Jeff Meacham) sends a ghost, Demi (Milo Maharlika), to snoop on her as she navigates school and embracing her musical side, all the while hiding who she really is. Other cast members include Jiwon Lee as Vee’s roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as Elijah, Faith Hedley as the legacy student Britney, Kate Reinders as Vee’s mother, and Kim Coles as the school’s dean.
