Los Angeles, California (June 23, 2025)- Beto Cuevas, one of the most iconic voices in Latin rock and the former frontman of Grammy-winning band La Ley, is breathing new life into the golden age of Unplugged performances with the release of the complete Beto Cuevas Acústico live concert special on YouTube. Filmed at Santiago’s legendary Teatro Teletón, the 1-hour, 8-minute audiovisual experience recaptures the emotional depth and cinematic energy of the unforgettable Latin Unplugged sessions from the early 2000s.
Produced by the legendary Humberto Gatica — known for his work with music titans like Michael Jackson, Céline Dion, and Luis Miguel — the special revisits a collection of beloved songs from Cuevas’ discography with La Ley and his solo career. Standouts like “Mentira,” “Vuelvo,” “Aquí,” and “El Duelo” are reimagined with lush arrangements and new emotional resonance. Under the musical direction of Charly Rey, the ensemble performance elevates each track, offering both longtime fans and new listeners a transformative listening experience.
Adding to the magic is the premiere of a previously unreleased song, “Todo Es Perfecto,” performed as a duet with rising Chilean singer Javiera Flores. The delicate acoustic moment quickly became one of the show’s most intimate and praised highlights, showcasing Cuevas’ continued ability to blend vulnerability with artistry.
While the Acústico album has already made its mark on digital streaming platforms, this is the first time audiences can experience the full live production with immersive Dolby Atmos sound and cinematic visuals — an homage to the power of live performance in its purest form.
Cuevas is now gearing up to bring this experience to audiences across Latin America as part of his Acústico tour. After three consecutive sold-out shows at Santiago’s Teatro Municipal, the tour resumes in July and will visit cities throughout Mexico, Central America, and South America, with U.S. dates to be announced soon.
As part of his international momentum, Cuevas will also be featured at the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) this July in New York City. He will appear on July 9 as a panelist for The Future of Publishing, Songwriting & Performance Revenues and perform a special acoustic set at SOB’s for the LAMC Acoustic Showcase on July 10.
