After months of speculation surrounding Radiohead’s return, the band has officially announced a 16-show Australian tour for 2027.
The tour will mark Radiohead’s first Australian shows in 15 years. The band will perform four shows at RAC Arena in Perth, followed by six shows at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and six shows at Afterpay Arena in Sydney.
Speculation surrounding the band’s return grew after guitarist Ed O’Brien discussed the group’s plans to continue touring. O’Brien previously told Rolling Stone that the band planned to tour different continents and perform around 20 shows each year.
Radiohead’s last Australian tour took place in 2012. The band’s most recent studio album, A Moon Shaped Pool, was released in 2016.
Rather than performing only one night in each location, Radiohead will stay in each city for multiple shows. The band will play four nights in Perth, six nights in Melbourne and six nights in Sydney.
After a 15-year absence from Australia, Radiohead’s 2027 return will bring the band back to the country for 16 performances across three cities.
