A Legacy of Success at Warner
Harlow’s journey with Warner Music began in 2010 when he joined as Managing Director for Australasia. In this role, he was instrumental in helping to break global superstars like Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa. He was later promoted to President of WEA, Warner’s global artist services arm, before taking the helm as CEO of Warner Music UK in late 2019.
Praised by Leadership
Warner Music Group CEO, Robert Kyncl, praised Harlow’s extensive impact. In a separate memo, Kyncl highlighted Harlow’s fantastic results in his three different roles at the company. He also noted Harlow’s “passion for artists, belief in our teams, and determination to innovate” as key hallmarks of his leadership.
Kyncl added that Harlow’s decision to announce his departure now was made to provide “new possibilities for the talented leadership team he’s mentored,” and promised more news on the transition soon.
What’s Next for the UK Team?
Harlow’s exit has sparked speculation about what’s next for Warner Music UK. The departure raises questions about whether a new structure will be introduced and how the UK team will interact with the company’s US and international networks. MBW, the source of this news, will be keeping a close eye on any further developments.
