Spotify is now celebrating their 20th anniversary. Throughout the years, the company has brought artists and fans together by personal connection, cultural milestones, and by the global community. In celebration of this anniversary, Spotify has emphasized the focus on the consumer. The community has created Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s), a mobile app that gives users a personalized retrospective of the user’s listening history.
The app allows there to be key milestones in which Spotify provides data for including your first day at Spotify, the total number of unique songs you’ve streamed, your first streamed track, and your all-time most streamed artist.
The mobile app features your All-Time Top Songs playlist – a curated collected of your 100 most-played racks with play counts and able to be saved to your library. Its functions include a shareable card, the ability to save results, sharing the results with friends, and posting the results across social platforms.
The users’ experience with the mobile app spans across 144 markets and in 16 languages.
Furthermore, Spotify has created a variety of global playlists that look at the defining sounds, movements, and cultural moments from the past two decades. These playlists are available now within the dedicated Spotify hub.
This 20th anniversary commemorates the usage of Spotify as it has been shaped by the listeners who discover, the artists who create, and the shared experience of music worldwide.
The future of Spotify’s app is now in the hands of the consumer.
