Los Angeles, California (June 27, 2025)- In a moment that bridges country music’s past, present, and future, rising duo Ryan and Rory have released their most personal and poignant track to date: “Together Again (feat. Jamey Johnson),” available now on all digital platforms. The song, rooted in legacy and rediscovery, is a long-lost country gem with a story as compelling as its melody.
Originally penned decades ago by Keith Follesé—Ryan’s father—alongside Jamey Johnson and iconic WSIX radio personality Gerry House, “Together Again” was a song that, for years, had nowhere to go. Though it was once on hold for Alan Jackson, the song quietly faded into the background, never recorded or released—until now.
Ryan first heard “Together Again” as a teenager, played acoustically at the family kitchen table by his father and Johnson. “It was one of those songs that just stopped me in my tracks,” he recalls. “It was pure country with a storyline that hit different. I never forgot it.” Years later, it was a conversation with Sony Music Publishing’s Tom Luteran that brought the song back into the light. Within 48 hours, Johnson was back in, telling Keith Follesé over lunch, “I’ll do anything for your boy.”
Recorded in January 2024 at Ocean Way Studios, the track is a powerhouse collaboration produced by legendary country hitmaker Dann Huff. Remarkably, this marks the first time Huff and Johnson have ever worked together in studio. The pairing proves electric, elevating the song’s cinematic storytelling and bringing its emotional depth to full life.
“Together Again” tells a timeless story of reunion and redemption, painted with the kind of lyrical precision and emotional weight that defines classic country. With Ryan and Rory’s fresh energy and Jamey Johnson’s unmistakable voice, the track becomes more than a revival—it’s a reawakening.
“They say Nashville is a storyteller town—and this one hits close to home,” says Ryan. “It’s about legacy, timing, and how a song can come full circle when the time is right.”
That full-circle moment will hit the stage when Ryan and Rory return to the Grand Ole Opry on July 13, bringing the story home in the most iconic venue in country music. Already hailed by Music Mayhem as being “primed to become the next major male duo in country music,” the pair continues to gather momentum following breakout performances with Brett Young, Sam Hunt, and Jamey Johnson himself.
Named a SiriusXM The Highway “Highway Find”, Ryan and Rory have been steadily building their fanbase with a series of 2025 releases. Their high-energy anthem “Truck Stop” has gained serious online traction, especially as fans discover Ryan’s pop crossover roots in Hot Chelle Rae, whose hits continue to resonate across platforms.
But it’s “Together Again” that sets the duo apart—offering a rare blend of generational continuity and authentic storytelling that defines the genre at its best. It’s not just a song; it’s a family heirloom finally finding its voice.
With heartfelt lyrics, masterful production, and a lineup that spans country royalty and modern innovation, “Together Again” feels less like a single release and more like a chapter in country music history—one that took decades to write but was always destined to be heard.
