Live Nation
Live Nation has unveiled plans for a new mid-sized concert venue in downtown Bentonville, signaling a major investment in the region’s growing live music infrastructure. The proposed space, tentatively named Bentonville Ballroom, would be developed in partnership with the Momentary and is expected to open in 2028.
Economic projections suggest the venue could deliver substantial benefits to the surrounding area. Estimates place its annual economic impact at more than $46 million, with roughly 280 jobs created through venue operations and related activity.
The project is also expected to generate nearly $5 million in combined state and local tax revenue. Local businesses, particularly restaurants, hotels, and retail shops, could see increased traffic as concerts and events attract visitors from across the region annually.
Local arts leaders see the project as an extension of the cultural momentum sparked by the Momentary, which has become a hub for music programming and multidisciplinary arts events. Supporters argue that a dedicated mid-size venue could significantly expand the city’s ability to host concerts and cultural gatherings throughout the year.
If approved, the Bentonville Ballroom would feature modern production capabilities designed to appeal to both artists and audiences. Planned amenities include advanced acoustics, clear sightlines, and flexible gathering spaces, alongside premium hospitality options and the ability to host private or corporate events.
Before construction moves forward, Live Nation plans to collaborate with city officials and nearby residents to refine details such as parking access and transportation integration. Early discussions include using the Momentary’s parking garage and connecting the venue with Bentonville’s extensive cycling network.
