Australian electronic pop project Keli Holiday has capitalized on an extraordinary period of commercial breakout success by signing a lucrative, exclusive global publishing agreement with BMG.
The major corporate signing formalizes an enduring, multi year creative partnership between the global music company and Adam Hyde, the acclaimed songwriter and producer mastermind behind the solo venture. Hyde previously achieved widespread industry success as one half of the chart topping duo Peking Duk, with BMG heavily involved in nurturing the earliest development phases of his alternative Holiday venture.
The business deal arrives on the heels of a massive cultural breakthrough for the project. The infectious single Dancing2 became an undeniable viral phenomenon across social media throughout 2025, capturing and defending the number one position on the TikTok Australia Viral Chart for several consecutive weeks. The track quickly converted social media momentum into traditional music industry metrics, topping the official ARIA Australian Singles Chart, climbing to number seven on the New Zealand charts, and claiming the number two spot on the celebrated triple j Hottest 100 countdown. The viral smash anchored Holiday’s sophomore studio album, Capital Fiction, which debuted at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Hyde expressed immense excitement about joining the corporate family, praising the enthusiastic local team for prioritizing artistic care alongside global commercial push. Heath Johns, BMG President for Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia, reiterated that commitment, highlighting the project’s rare creative vitality and immense international appeal. Backed by extensive upcoming international touring plans and a brand new body of recorded music, BMG intends to utilize its worldwide infrastructure to amplify the artist’s voice across new markets. With this signing, Hyde joins an elite domestic publishing roster that already boasts influential Australian and New Zealand legends including Neil Finn, Chet Faker, Ladyhawke, Wolfmother, and The Cat Empire.
