The 37th edition takes over the Faena Forum in Miami Beach Oct. 19–22, with Cuban reparto, a new generation of música mexicana and the Billboard Latin Music Awards to close.
If Latin music had a family reunion, it would look like this lineup: a salsa legend, reggaeton pioneers, corrido kids and a HYBE boy band, all in one building.

On Tuesday (Oct. 6), Billboard announced the final names for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week, including Rubén Blades, Anthony Ramos, Lenny Tavárez, Tito Nieves and Baby Rasta & Gringo. The event returns to the Faena Forum in Miami Beach from Oct. 19 to 22, with artist conversations, industry panels, showcases and concerts. This year’s theme is “Global Consolidation”: how Latin music builds on the international reach it already has.
The five sessions worth your time include the Icon Q&A with Rubén Blades, one of the most important songwriters in Latin music and this year’s Billboard Icon Award recipient, in conversation. Fuerza Regida’s Superstar Q&A with the San Bernardino group behind the highest-charting regional Mexican album in Billboard 200 history and this year’s Vanguard Award honoree; and Pitbull’s chart history, live, as Mr. Worldwide walks through his Billboard chart history—bring a notebook, because it’s a long one.
Also on the schedule are “The New Mexican Music Generation,” with brothers Hermanos Espinoza, the cousins of Clave Especial, Emmanuel Cortes and Edgardo Núñez on why the newest wave of Mexican music is young, multi-instrumental and very much a family business, and “Reparto: Cuba’s Modern-Day Soundscape,” featuring Bebeshito, DJ Conds, Helabusador & Rey Tony, and Wow Popy on the Cuban sound now spreading well beyond Havana—for Miami audiences especially, this is the one to catch.
Mau y Ricky and Carlos Rivera are in the timetable on the many identities of Latin pop, a panel on Latin music’s independent revolution, a showcase for HYBE Latin America’s boy band Santos Bravos and the Opening Night by Boombastic at Furia Disco Rooftop.

The week closes on Thursday, Oct. 22, with the Billboard Latin Music Awards, broadcast live on Telemundo. Peso Pluma leads with 17 finalist nods, followed by Tito Double P with 15, Fuerza Regida with 12, Karol G with nine, Prince Royce with eight and Bad Bunny with seven. Rosalía will receive the Billboard Hall of Fame Award. Check out our lattest post about her.
Billboard’s co-chief content officer Leila Cobo has said Latin music has never been as global, as rich or as widely listened to as it is now. Judging by this lineup, she might be underselling it.
