Live Nation’s push deeper into Latin America is continuing, with the concert giant securing a majority stake in Argentine promoter Dale Play Live as competition intensifies around Spanish-language music markets and regional touring infrastructure.
The agreement places one of Argentina’s fastest-growing entertainment companies deeper inside Live Nation’s global ecosystem while keeping existing leadership in place. Founder and CEO Federico Lauria will remain at the forefront, continuing to oversee the company’s strategic direction and artist relationships as the business enters its next phase.
Buenos Aires remains one of South America’s most significant touring hubs, and the acquisition adds another layer to Live Nation’s increasingly interconnected Latin American network.
The deal follows a clear pattern. In recent years, Live Nation has steadily expanded through partnerships and acquisitions across key regional markets, including investments in Peru’s Bizarro and Colombia promoter Páramo Presenta, alongside its controlling position in Mexican entertainment giant OCESA.
Dale Play arrives with advantages beyond promotion alone. While the company has become closely associated with the explosion of Argentine urban music, its broader ecosystem stretches across management, recorded music and live entertainment. Through its wider business, Dale Play maintains ties to major Latin artists including Bizarrap, Duki and Rels B.
Live music remains the foundation of the business. Dale Play Live currently sells more than one million tickets annually and has built relationships with some of the region’s biggest touring acts, including longtime collaborator Bad Bunny.
The acquisition also reshapes Live Nation’s footprint in Argentina without replacing existing partnerships. DF Entertainment, already a key partner in the market, will continue focusing heavily on international touring while Dale Play strengthens local artist development and Spanish-language content.
