1. Registration Fees & Non-Refundable Nature
By submitting an application and processing the flat $50 registration fee per band, all applicants explicitly acknowledge and agree that all payments are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to: voluntary withdrawal, talent disqualification, failure to meet deadlines, or local transit and parking delays. If a band does not advance through the 50/50 scoring matrix, all results are absolute, binding, and final—voluntary participation acknowledges the structural reality that if an act loses, they lose.
2. General Eligibility & Age Constraints
Participation is strictly open to Original Rock musical groups. All performing members must be at least 15 years old at the time of registration. Any performing members between the ages of 15 and 17 are strictly required to submit a signed parent/guardian release and liability waiver form prior to check-in on the day of the live showcase. The Guardian must also be present throughout all required appearance days. Failure to produce the required guardian documentation will result in an immediate block on stage credentials and total slot forfeiture.
3. Automatic Media Release
Simple completion of registration and product checkout grants the festival and its title partners absolute, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free rights to utilize the applicant band’s name, recorded likeness, video submission, social media promotional content, and audio tracks for marketing, broadcasting, promotions, and editorial purposes across any medium without financial compensation.
4. Mandatory Roster Conditions & Single Act Entity Clause
For the purposes of prize distribution, legal compliance, and operational execution, the prize package and all performance slots are awarded strictly to the registered band as a single, unified entity—represented legally by the Primary Registrant contact. The festival and its executives are completely insulated from, and hold zero civil or financial liability for, any internal band politics, financial disagreements, booking splits, or member roster disputes within a competing group.
If a winning band disbands, splits up, or faces internal legal constraints that prevent them from coordinating as a unified body following the live show, the act will face automatic title forfeiture. The entire prize package will be revoked, and the placement will retroactively pass to the designated runner-up act from the live finals matrix.
5. Third-Party Liability, Public Venue Disclaimers & Force Majeure
Because the live tournament is staged in a public studio property, all applicants, performers, crew members, and entourage personnel enter the premises at their own personal discretion and risk. The festival operators function solely as a media production entity and are not the primary facility managers, proprietors, or landowners of the commercial property.
- Public Safety Threats: In the event of random acts of mass violence, active shooter scenarios, or targeted public safety threats, the production executives, staff, and sponsors are explicitly and totally released from any and all civil liability, injury claims, legal damages, or wrongful death actions. Perimeter safety and physical security remain the exclusive jurisdiction of municipal law enforcement and commercial property management.
- Law Enforcement Actions: The festival organization maintains zero association with, control over, or capability to restrict the field operations of municipal, state, or federal law enforcement agencies, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In the event of any uncoordinated intervention, checkpoint, or disruption within the public property, the festival explicitly disclaims all legal or operational liability. Performers dance and play at their own sole risk.
- Force Majeure: In the event of inclement weather, power failure, civil unrest, or sudden venue mandates, production retains absolute corporate authority to unilaterally reschedule the date or compress the schedule. The organization holds zero liability for competitor hotel, travel, or operational losses, and all registration fees remain 100% non-refundable.
