Carín León
Carín León has officially postponed his upcoming San Antonio performance, with the show now set for July 16 instead of its originally scheduled May date.
The concert had been planned for May 24 at Frost Bank Center but was moved due to scheduling conflicts related to the San Antonio Spurs’ ongoing playoff run.
Organizers confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the new date, meaning fans will not need to exchange or update their tickets. Refunds are also being offered for ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled performance, with requests available through the original point of purchase.
The announcement comes during another milestone period for Carín León, who has rapidly become one of the defining artists in modern Música Mexicana. Since launching his solo career in 2018, the Hermosillo-born singer has built an international following through his genre-crossing approach that blends regional Mexican music with elements of rock, pop, country and Latin urban influences.
Over the past several years, León has collected multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy wins while collaborating with artists across genres, including Bon Jovi, Carlos Santana, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Maluma, C. Tangana and Camilo.
His rise has also translated into major live achievements. In 2025, León reportedly broke attendance records at RodeoHouston and expanded his international reach through a successful European run of his Boca Chueca Tour. He is also set to make history in 2026 as the first Latin artist scheduled to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The rescheduled San Antonio date reflects León’s continued arena-level popularity across the United States as Música Mexicana remains one of the fastest-growing genres in the global music industry.
Fans attending the July performance can expect a setlist spanning León’s biggest hits, along with material that has helped establish him as one of Latin music’s most influential contemporary stars.
