Global powerhouse Carín León recently signed with WME’s Global Co-Head of Music, Kirk M. Sommer. With manager Jorge Juarez at his side, the powerful duo have goals to increase León’s presence and business in territories currently beyond his specified base.
“We are thrilled to join the WME team led by Kirk Sommer,” Juarez shares. “Carín has tremendous potential to expand into other global territories. We are looking to WME to lead the way in all areas of their expertise.”
León has been described as a touring powerhouse, with five Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award under his belt. León was also the first Latin artist to play Stagecoach and Coachella all within the same year, and also the first Latin artist to play in The Vegas Sphere. Just earlier this year, he set records at RODEOHOUSTON with an audience of over 70,000 fans.
“Carín is a generational artist. In his incredible career, he has consistently broken barriers and transcended genres,” Sommer inputs. “We are determined to bring the full weight of WME to bear to expand Carín’s fanbase around the world and we are honored to work with both Carín and Jorge.”
