Puerto Rican artist Brray has released his latest EP, ‘LAS DEL STREAM (VOL. 1),’ marking a new approach to music production in the música urbana genre. Created in collaboration with L-O-N (Las Ovejas Negras), the project was built entirely live on Twitch, allowing for real-time fan interaction and spontaneous creative energy to shape the final product.
Real-Time Creative Process
The foundation of ‘LAS DEL STREAM (VOL. 1)’ is rooted in live sessions where music was created from scratch in front of a digital audience. Every track on the EP was developed 100% live on stream, moving away from pre-written lyrics or staged sessions. This method allowed for organic creative turns, jokes, and instant reactions to become part of the songs, creating a “time capsule” of shared moments between the artists and their fans.
Audiovisual Identity and Digital Culture
Visually, the project merges traditional music production with the aesthetic of livestream culture. The rollout incorporates several digital-first elements:
- On-screen chat moments pulled directly from the sessions.
- Raid-style transitions and viral clips.
- Real-time energy captured as artists created under the pressure of a live audience.
The L-O-N Creative Ecosystem
The project also highlights the work of L-O-N (Las Ovejas Negras), a collective of producers, singers, engineers, and creatives. Launched in January 2025, L-O-N aims to bring the recording studio directly to the audience through streaming. The collective features an “open-door” creative process where viewers are invited to submit bars, beats, and hooks, providing emerging talent with the opportunity to earn placements on official releases.
‘LAS DEL STREAM (VOL. 1)’ Tracklist
The EP features a variety of high-energy collaborations and captures the chemistry developed during the Twitch sessions:
- Psicosis ft. Anubis
- Click ft. Fronti (Focus Track)
- Otra Cosa Nostra ft. Baby Johnny
- Puej Claro ft. DIA
- Sin Amarte ft. Conep
- Ride or Die ft. Fantakuka
