Leadership with Proven Impact
After serving as Interim Executive Director in 2025, Wolters now formally leads MusiCares in its mission to provide a comprehensive safety net for the music community. Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy® and MusiCares, said:

Global and Humanitarian Experience
Before joining MusiCares, Wolters held key roles in international health and development organizations:
- Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation: helped shape global strategies providing lifesaving services to millions affected by HIV and other diseases.
- Millennium Promise: contributed to launching the Millennium Villages Project, showcasing the UN’s development goals in action.
- International Medical Corps: directed health and refugee programs in five African countries.
Her career combines large-scale global impact with a deep understanding of individual needs, now applied to musicians as a population uniquely vulnerable to financial and health challenges.

At MusiCares, Wolters has focused on addressing the unique health, mental health, and addiction recovery needs of music professionals. She said:
