Noah Kahan has officially confirmed his return to Australia and New Zealand for a five show arena tour in late 2026. Supporting his forthcoming album The Great Divide, the tour marks a significant scaling up for the Vermont singer songwriter, moving into major venues like Melbournes Rod Laver Arena and Sydneys Qudos Bank Arena. This announcement follows a meteoric rise that saw Kahan secure a Best New Artist Grammy nomination and become a defining voice in the modern folk pop resurgence.
A New Era with Aaron Dessner
The upcoming tour centers on Kahans fourth studio album, The Great Divide, set for release on April 24th. The record features the hit single Porch Light, a collaboration with acclaimed producer Aaron Dessner (The National, Taylor Swift). Recorded at the legendary Long Pond Studio, the partnership with Dessner signals a more refined, atmospheric direction for Kahan. By pairing with Dessner and his longtime collaborator Gabe Simon, Kahan is positioning the new record as a mature evolution of the acoustic sound that made Stick Season a global phenomenon.
Netflix and the Vulnerability Strategy
Before the tour kicks off, Kahan will release a raw Netflix documentary titled Out of Body on April 13th. Directed by Australian filmmaker Nick Sweeney, the film provides an intimate look at the pressures of following up a breakthrough hit. It explores Kahans struggles with imposter syndrome and body dysmorphia, alongside the complex family dynamics that often fuel his songwriting. The documentary already holds significant momentum, having won the 24 Beats Per Second Audience Award at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival.
Ticket Demand and Market Expansion
Tickets for the tour go on sale April 17th, with several tiers of presales starting as early as April 14th for Mastercard and Vodafone customers. Kahan will be joined by fellow US singer songwriter Michael Marcagi, further strengthening the appeal of the tour for fans of the indie folk genre. Given Kahans rapid ascent and the high production value of the upcoming documentary, industry experts expect these arena dates to sell out quickly, solidifying his status as a permanent fixture in the global touring circuit.
