Los Angeles, California (June 3, 2025)- Colombian music and visual collective Systema Solar returns with their latest album FUTURX PRIMITIVX 20|25, a powerful artistic statement that transcends genre to honor ancestral roots, indigenous wisdom, and the deep bond between humanity and the Earth. More than just an album, FUTURX PRIMITIVX is a spiritual manifesto—celebrating resistance, community, and a vision of the future grounded in tradition.
Recorded with a bold fusion of traditional Caribbean rhythms and futuristic electronic sounds, the album embodies what Systema Solar calls “a danceable revolution.” With each track, the group reimagines the musical and cultural legacy of Colombia’s Indigenous and Afro-descendant communities, while challenging colonial structures and modern disconnection from nature.
“This is not just a record,” the group says. “It’s a cry from the origin and the root. FUTURX PRIMITIVX is rhythm, memory, and resistance—it’s ancestral drums merged with the electronics of the future. It’s a sonic journey through fire, identity, and cosmic vision.”
Leading the charge is the powerful single Seguimos en el combate / Ave Fénix, an anthem of rebirth and resistance. Described as a song of inner transformation and spiritual awakening, it invites listeners to rise from the ashes of selfishness and reconnect with the path of truth, healing, and daily revolutionary living.
To mark the release, Systema Solar will perform a one-of-a-kind live show on June 7 at Bogotá’s Teatro Colón, titled Futurx Primitivx 20|25 – EL ORIGEN. Promising to be an unforgettable experience filled with rhythm, visuals, and the group’s signature energy, the performance also includes appearances by special guests such as Cumbia Queen, and immersive community-driven experiences.
As part of the launch, the group is also hosting a children’s percussion and drum workshop led by drummer Andrés Gutiérrez. This cultural activity offers young audiences an opportunity to connect with rhythm as a language of memory and joy, reinforcing the album’s deep commitment to preserving and sharing ancestral knowledge.
Following the Bogotá show, Systema Solar will embark on a European tour, carrying the FUTURX PRIMITIVX 20|25 experience across the Atlantic. The collective will bring the sounds of Colombia’s Caribbean coast—champeta, cumbia, bullerengue, and fandango—infused with hip hop, techno, and house to audiences in various European cities throughout June.
Since their formation, Systema Solar has championed a unique style known as Berbenautika—a sonic universe that blends folkloric roots with contemporary culture. With FUTURX PRIMITIVX 20|25, the group doubles down on its mission: to uplift the spirit, question the system, and dance toward a future where community, wisdom, and resistance take center stage.
This is not nostalgia. This is activated ancestral power. This is FUTURX PRIMITIVX.
