Los Angeles, California (May 4, 2025)- Vallenato superstar Silvestre Dangond has unveiled a powerful new tribute to his extraordinary career with the opening of “Las Locuras de Silvestre”, an immersive experience designed to honor his legacy, music, and deep connection with fans. Located at Carrera 9 #9D-128 in the heart of Valledupar — a street that famously turns red with celebration every time Dangond releases new music — the space opens today and will welcome visitors free of charge for one month.
Designed as a heartfelt walk through Dangond’s life, “Las Locuras de Silvestre” invites fans into a series of themed rooms filled with personal artifacts and career milestones. From childhood memories and early performances to the international acclaim that redefined modern vallenato, each room offers a vivid glimpse into the artist’s personal and professional evolution. Guests can explore stage costumes, awards, photographs, never-before-seen memorabilia, and deeply personal items that highlight Silvestre’s journey as both a musician and a man.
More than a museum, the house offers a multisensory experience — including a soundscape dedicated to the music that made him an icon. A special section is devoted to “El Último Baile”, Dangond’s forthcoming album with accordionist Juancho De La Espriella, marking the final chapter of a historic musical partnership. Fans can preview exclusive elements of the new project and reflect on the pair’s legacy within the genre.
The opening of “Las Locuras de Silvestre” also kicks off a monumental celebration. Starting May 29, a fan caravan will depart from the house to mark the album’s release, leading into three consecutive nights of concerts at Valledupar’s legendary Parque de la Leyenda Vallenata on May 30, 31, and June 1. These concerts are set to break attendance records, solidifying Dangond’s status as vallenato’s most influential contemporary voice.
“This house is for the Silvestristas — the ones who’ve been there from the start, and the ones who just discovered me,” said Dangond. “It’s my way of saying thank you and celebrating everything we’ve built together.”
With “Las Locuras de Silvestre”, the artist transforms his life story into a shared experience, allowing fans to step into the music, memories, and madness that have defined two decades of artistic triumph. The doors are open — and Silvestre’s story is more alive than ever.
