A Powerful Pair
On September 16, Sergio George released his latest song, a recreation of Tito Nieves’ “Fabricando Fantasías” starring the vocals of renowned Colombian singer Carlos Vives.
Classic Yet Modern
The single comes as a teaser for George’s upcoming album “The Hits Reimagined,” which will feature covers of famous Latin songs in the producer’s unique style blending contemporary pop sounds, tropical traditional sounds, piano acoustics, full ensembles of musicians, and collaborations from some of the most powerful and recognizable voices in Latin music. Recent collaborations George delighted Latin music fans with on his Premios Junventud-nominated “ATACA SERGIO! Presents: Urban Salsa Sessions” were Jay Wheeler, Wisin, Ryan Castro, Anthony Ramos, Annasofia, Mike Bahía. The track also dropped right before George’s ¡ATACA SERGIO! All Stars Concert in Miami on September 21, an epic occasion that featured legendary artists such as La India, Gente de Zona, Anthony Ramos, and many more.
An International Team
The track and its music video, directed by Sergio I. Rodríguez, were recorded closer to home for Vives, with the music video shot entirely in Bogotá and most of the track itself recorded and produced there too at GML Studios, with the rest credited to the nearby Essential Studios in Lima. Both George and Vives were assisted in the production, mixing, and mastering by Andrés Leal, Javier Garza, and Randy Merrill.
