Los Angeles, California (August 5, 2025)- Legendary producer Sergio George is celebrating the release of his new single, “Gracias,” a vibrant and rhythmic track featuring Annasofia and Mike Bahía. The song is a modern salsa anthem that radiates with George’s signature touch, blending emotion and precision to celebrate the people and experiences that truly matter in life.
Far from a nostalgic ballad, “Gracias” is a surge of energy and gratitude, with an infectious beat that feels like a heartfelt conversation among friends. The voices of Annasofia and Mike Bahía weave effortlessly together, honoring family, close friends, and those who are still with us, as well as those who are no longer here. It’s an authentic and joyful anthem that connects with listeners through its genuine spirit.
The single is part of George’s first album as a lead artist, Ataca Sergio! Presents: Urban Salsa Sessions, a project that challenges genre boundaries by bringing a new generation of voices into a deeply rooted salsa framework. The album has already delivered standout collaborations with artists like Jay Wheeler, Fariana, Ryan Castro, Wisin, Skip Marley, and Lenny Tavárez.
The release of “Gracias” also comes as Sergio George prepares for one of the most ambitious events of his career: the ¡Ataca Sergio! All Stars Concert. Set for September 21 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, this once-in-a-lifetime show will bring together some of the biggest names in Latin music to perform the greatest hits from George’s career. Confirmed artists include Servando y Florentino, Luis Enrique, Lenny Tavárez, Huey Dunbar (DLG), Bacilos, and Rafa Pabón, with more names to be announced. It promises to be a night to sing, dance, and celebrate that salsa is still very much a living and evolving art form.
“Gracias” is now available on all digital music platforms. With a career spanning over four decades and more than 50 Latin GRAMMY® nominations and 20 wins, Sergio George has worked with legends from Marc Anthony to Jennifer Lopez, leaving an indelible mark on salsa and tropical music by consistently bringing it to new generations with a fresh, cutting-edge approach.
