New York-based singer-songwriter and producer Sarah Kinsley has officially announced her highly anticipated new EP, “Fleeting,” scheduled for release on February 13 via Verve Forecast/Fontana. Described as an artist with “a universe inside her,” Kinsley is following up on her 2024 debut LP, Escaper, with a collection of five melody-rich pop songs.
New Single: “Lonely Touch”
Available today, the new track “Lonely Touch” serves as an emotional cornerstone for the EP. Kinsley wrote the song in a single sitting after viewing Luca Guadagnino’s film Queer. The track explores themes of vulnerability and the terrifying nature of deep intimacy.
“This song is an homage to the vulnerability of longing,” Kinsley shares. “It’s about wanting to feel the depths of each other’s souls—of melting together in the dark.”
The accompanying music video, co-directed by Kinsley and Chloe Vivian Gottlieb, utilizes dance and movement to visually capture the direct contact and closeness described in the lyrics.
Historic Collaboration with Paris Paloma
For the first time in her career, Kinsley has invited a guest artist into her studio process. The track “After All” features British artist Paris Paloma. The collaboration was created across the Atlantic, bridging New York and London to explore why love cannot always save us. Paloma, a longtime fan of Kinsley, described the experience as “exciting and emotive,” marking a new creative direction for both musicians.
2026 Global Headline Tour
To support the release, Kinsley will embark on a 30-date headline tour across North America, the UK, and Ireland. The tour kicks off on March 25 in Seattle and includes major stops at Brooklyn Steel in New York and The Fonda in Los Angeles. The international leg concludes with a grand finale at London’s KOKO on May 28.
A Career in Evolution
Written in the back of fast-moving New York City taxis and produced alongside Jake Aron, Fleeting represents a return to an “identity lost long ago.” Kinsley’s recent rise has been highlighted by peers like Chappell Roan, who praised her talent on social media earlier this year, solidifying Kinsley’s position as a brilliant and original voice in the 2026 pop landscape.
