The 40th Annual Ceremony, considered music’s highest honor, will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. It will be broadcast live, coast-to-coast, on Disney+ starting at 8:00 PM EST.
This year’s lineup of special guests is packed with some of the biggest names spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, and comedy. The initial list of presenters and performers includes: Elton John, Missy Elliott, Olivia Rodrigo, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Flea, Iggy Pop, Brandi Carlile, Questlove, JID, and Twenty One Pilots, among many others. Additional guests are expected to be announced closer to the show date.
John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, commented on the significance of the event: “Every year, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony brings together music’s most influential artists of today to honor their heroes, who have inspired their music and their careers.”
The special guests will be honoring the Class of 2025 inductees, which includes an incredibly diverse group of legends:
- Artist Category: Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes.
- Musical Influence Award: Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon.
- Musical Excellence Award: Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye.
- Ahmet Ertegun Award: Lenny Waronker.
For those who miss the live broadcast, ABC will air a prime-time special featuring performance highlights on Thursday, January 1, 2026, which will be available the following day on Hulu. Fans can also catch a glimpse of the inductees’ history when the 2025 Inductee Exhibit opens to the public at the Rock Hall Museum in Cleveland on October 31, 2025.
