Los Angeles, California (August 20, 2025)- Australian producer Ninajirachi has released her debut album, I Love My Computer, on August 8 via NLV Records. The 12-track project is a smart and stylish exploration of living and loving in a digital world, with its centerpiece being the cheekily titled track “I Want to F–k My Computer.” As Ninajirachi (real name Nina Wilson) explains, she realized the songs she was writing about a deep relationship weren’t for a person, but for her constant companion and creative tool: her laptop. “No one in the world knows me better,” she sings on the track.
The album is the latest step into the spotlight for the 26-year-old artist, who has been building her career for years. Her journey began in her bedroom in Gosford, New South Wales, where she discovered electronic music online and began uploading her own productions to SoundCloud at age 16. One of her early tracks, “Pure Luck,” caught the attention of influential Australian radio host Nina Las Vegas, who later signed Ninajirachi to her NLV Records label.
This year has seen a significant surge in Ninajirachi’s momentum. She played a sold-out run of headlining shows in Australia, which created a wave of support for her single “All I Am” before its official release. The track now has nearly two million streams on Spotify, marking her biggest release on the platform to date. This momentum was further amplified by her appearances at Australia’s Laneway Festival, where she played all four editions, and a three-show run supporting one of her musical heroes, Porter Robinson. She also made her debut on the mainstage at EDC Las Vegas this past May.
Ninajirachi’s biggest U.S. tour to date is set to begin on September 5, with six of the 17 shows already sold out. Despite her rising profile, she remains grounded. “I don’t feel like I entirely fit in in the EDM world,” she says. “I don’t entirely fit in in the Australian dance thing, so I’m happy to just do my thing and whoever likes it can come and check it out.”
I Love My Computer marks a creative high point, with the project serving as a cohesive narrative about her musical awakening through the internet. As she sings on the track “iPod Touch,” the album captures the nostalgic thrill of finding a song that changes your world. A lifelong gamer who has collaborated with Sega and Fortnite, Ninajirachi is already looking ahead to future projects, with the process of making her debut album being “demanding, but so much more rewarding than demanding.”
