LOS ANGELES (Monday June 23rd, 2025) – Riding a wave of chart-topping hits and massive streaming numbers, Mexican music artist Netón Vega officially announced his first headlining U.S. tour during a press conference Monday at BMO Stadium. The tour, titled “Mi Vida Mi Muerte,” marks a strategic expansion into the American market for the 21-year-old phenom, whose rapid ascent has made him a dominant force in the global rise of Música Mexicana.
The announcement follows overwhelming demand for his initial U.S. concert dates. Vega’s first scheduled performance, set for June 27 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, reportedly sold out within an hour. The demand prompted the immediate addition of a second show for June 28 at the same venue, which also sold out.

Vega’s U.S. tour launches into a turbulent landscape for international artists. The current U.S. presidential administration has adopted a stricter stance on visa applications, leading to a series of high-profile postponements and cancellations that have cast a chill over the touring circuit. Major Regional Mexican acts have recently had U.S. performances derailed by visas being revoked or placed under “administrative processing,” creating a high-risk environment for promoters and artists. Simultaneously, security concerns in Mexico have forced some prominent groups to cancel shows in their home country.
Despite the challenging climate, Vega’s tour is proceeding with confirmed dates in major U.S. cities, including San Jose on July 26 and an appearance in Arizona on November 8, with stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, New York, and San Antonio to be detailed later.
The tour is bolstered by Vega’s formidable commercial success. The artist currently garners over 32.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and has accumulated more than five billion streams across the platform. His debut album, Mi Vida, Mi Muerte, released via his independent label Josa Records, was a commercial landmark, debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart and reaching #19 on the overall Billboard 200. His chart dominance extends to multiple entries on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, including his collaboration with Luis R Conriquez, “Si No Quieres No,” and his solo reggaetón single, “Loco.”
Before his own launch, Vega established himself as an elite songwriter, penning key tracks like “La People” and “Rubicon” for Peso Pluma’s Grammy-winning album Génesis. Concurrent with the tour announcement, Vega released a new single, “Qué Motor,” described as a preview of his next musical project.
