Los Angeles, California (August 5, 2025)- Myke Towers continues to cement his status as one of Latin music’s most dominant figures, as his hit collaboration with Spanish artist Quevedo, “Soleao,” has officially topped three major Billboard radio charts. The track has become a certified summer anthem on both sides of the Atlantic, reaching No. 1 simultaneously on the Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Airplay, and, for a second consecutive week, the Latin Rhythm Airplay charts.
This latest achievement marks a significant milestone for Towers, as “Soleao” becomes his 18th No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart. The song has also been named the most-played track on Puerto Rican radio, according to Mediabasecharts, further solidifying its powerful connection with listeners. Its success on three distinct charts confirms the song’s widespread appeal and genre-crossing versatility.
“Soleao” is a standout track from Towers’ new 23-song album, Island Boyz, a project that explores the Caribbean essence of his artistry through a fusion of reggaetón, dancehall, dembow, Latin R&B, and afrobeats. Since its release, the album has been praised for its sonic diversity and cohesive narrative, debuting at No. 2 on Spotify’s global debut albums chart and remaining a top-streamed album in Spain for weeks.
The music video for “Soleao,” directed by David Camarero and shot in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, authentically captures the vibrant Caribbean spirit that inspires the album. The visual has already surpassed 15 million views on YouTube, offering fans an intimate look into Towers’ creative world.
This success comes during a high-performing season for the artist, who is currently in the middle of a sold-out 2025 European tour with stops in major cities like Barcelona, London, and Paris. Just last week, Towers delivered a historic performance at La Velada del Año V in Seville, Spain, where he performed in front of 85,000 people and more than 7 million viewers on Twitch, making it one of the most-watched events of the year.
