The collaboration with Hozier is a natural progression of the artists’ friendship, which began in 2017 when Hozier joined the band on stage for a cover of The Beatles. Critics are praising Hozier’s “distinguishable and rich baritone” for wonderfully complementing the voice of Marcus Mumford.
The new single arrives as Mumford & Sons prepares to return to the road for a massive 22-date arena tour across the UK and Europe this November and December. The band, which has spent much of the last year touring the United States alongside acts like Maggie Rogers and Noah Kahan, will conclude the European leg with two nights at the O2 Arena in their hometown of London, both of which are already sold out.
