Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends follows the lighthearted yet heroic adventures of young Tony Stark, Riri Williams, and Amadeus Cho—three best friends and super geniuses who team up to protect their city and solve problems, both big and small. Each of the Iron Friends has their own specially designed Iron Suit, giving them the power to fly and super strength as they take on new challenges in every episode. Full of action, friendship, and problem-solving, the series offers an exciting entry point into the Marvel Universe for a new generation of fans.
Adding to the excitement is the return of John Stamos to the Marvel preschool universe. After previously voicing Tony Stark in Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Stamos now steps into the role of Howard Stark, Tony’s inventive and supportive father. A first-look image of the character accompanied today’s trailer release, giving fans an early glimpse at the reimagined legacy figure.
The show features a colorful cast of characters and beloved guest stars. ESPN analyst Jessica Mendoza lends her voice to Dottie Doubleday, the upbeat owner of a local batting cage. Emmy-winning actress Jackée Harry voices Granny Williams, Riri’s high-spirited grandmother who drives a mobile pie truck. Veteran actor Stephen Tobolowsky plays Spencer Q. Sweets, the charismatic candy shop owner, while Lauren Tom brings to life Helen Cho, Amadeus’ enthusiastic and nurturing mother. Rounding out the comedic element are Gary Anthony Williams and Mo Collins as Nuts and Bolts, two of Ultron’s quirky henchbots.
The main cast includes Mason Blomberg as Tony Stark (Iron Man), Kapri Ladd as Riri Williams (Ironheart), Aidyn Ahn as Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk), Tony Hale as Ultron, Vanessa Bayer as Swarm, and Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man. The series is executive produced by Sean Coyle and Harrison Wilcox under Disney Branded Television. James Eason-Garcia serves as co-executive producer and story editor, with Alex Cichon as supervising producer, Ashley Rideout as producer, and Michael Dowding as supervising director.
Adding a musical punch to the series is GRAMMY® Award-nominated musician Mark Hoppus, bassist and founding member of blink-182, who wrote and performed the show’s energetic theme song, “Totally Awesome.” Composer Matthew Margeson scores the series, which is produced by Disney Jr. and Marvel Studios in association with Atomic Cartoons.
With its empowering themes, playful tone, and iconic characters reimagined for younger viewers, Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is poised to become a must-watch for Marvel fans of all ages.
