Last week in Nashville, TN, the music community gathered for a sold-out night of songs and heartfelt stories that generated incredible support for a crucial cause. The 4th Annual “Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda – Stories & Songs To Heal The Music,” presented by Wiatr & Associates at The Cannery, successfully raised an impressive $130,000 for the Music Health Alliance (MHA). The annual event provides life-saving resources, demonstrating the industry’s deep commitment to its own.
A Star-Studded Writers’ Round
The evening’s success was driven by an all-star lineup, hosted by the engaging Elaina Smith. Taking the stage were country music superstar and American Idol judge Luke Bryan, alongside acclaimed songwriters Matt Dragstrem, Chase McGill, and producer/songwriter Jeff Stevens. The unique “Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda” concept, created by Grammy-winning songwriter and MHA board member Liz Rose, reimagines the traditional writers’ round, giving fans a special behind-the-scenes look at the songs that almost became chart-toppers.

Healing The Music Community
The funds raised go directly to the Music Health Alliance’s mission to provide access to healthcare and mental health resources for music professionals. Since its founding in 2013, MHA’s team has made a profound impact, helping over 32,000 members of the music community and saving them over $145 million in healthcare costs. Speaking to the spirit of the event, Tatum Hauck Allsep, Founder & CEO of Music Health Alliance, shared her gratitude: “We are so grateful for the sponsors, guests, and artists who made this night possible. From the laughter to the heartfelt stories, it was a true celebration of the best of our songwriting community and MHA’s mission to Heal The Music.”
How You Can Support MHA’s Mission
The $130,000 raised at the “Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda” event ensures that MHA can continue to offer its services at no cost to those who have made a living in the music industry. With 86% of every dollar donated going straight to programs, these fundraisers are vital for sustaining the organization’s work. It’s clear the industry is passionate about protecting its own.
