Lainey Wilson presents a new video for her new holiday song “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” along with Bing Crosby. The song was created in partnership with Hershey’s, and showcased animated versions of the two artists. Watch HERE.
The new holiday hit is featured on Wilson’s “Peace, Love, & Cowboys (Holiday Edition)” EP, which includes the title track and instrumental versions of both songs. The EP is now available on CD, 12-inch vinyl, and 7-inch vinyl. To purchase, click HERE.
To immerse herself further in the holiday spirit, Wilson performed a medley of “Peace, Love, & Cowboys (Holiday Edition)” and “Somewhere Over Laredo” at the 99th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last week. Watch the performance HERE. Next week, Wilson will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday, December 10th as a member of their special Christmas show.
“Somewhere Over Laredo” currently tops charts in the U.S. after peaking at #1 in Canada and in the U.K. as well. The hit came from the deluxe version of Whirlwind, Wilson’s award-winning album. Wilson also holds a nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at a ceremony coming up next year for “Trailblazer”, a collaboration with Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire.
These are only the latest in a series of achievements that Wilson has picked up, known for being Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist, Album of the Year (Whirlwind), and Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Variety hails Wilson as “the reigning current standard-bearer for women in country.”
