On September 19, La Sonora Dinamita will release the focus single “Los Solteros” featuring Juan Solo.
A Tribute to the Genre
The song serves as a teaser for the Mexican tropical and cumbia group’s upcoming 9-track album, “Cumbia Sin Fronteras” (“Cumbia Without Borders”). The album is a tribute to and demonstration of the wide reach of the genre, both appreciating its legacy and trying to cement itself within that story as the ultimate bite-sized cumbia playlist.
Other Features
The album is also set to feature appearances from Víctor García, Yahir, Kalimba, and Kika Edgar, with whom the band has already collaborated on the wildly successful “Qué Bello.” The album is a testament to the genre’s influence and popularity across generations, countries, and cultures.
