Los Angeles, CA – February 1st, 2026 – Kehlani took home the Grammy for Best R&B Performance at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards Premiere for her song “Folded”.
Visibly emotional approaching the stage, Kehlani expressed deep gratitude for the award, and for her team that worked hard to make this possible. From her managers and producers, to every contributor involved with the creative process.
An addition to her attire for the night is a striking pin that read “ICE OUT”, a statement piece that didn’t go unnoticed.

Kehlani used her speech as an opportunity to point out how powerful everyone in the room is. She encouraged everyone to be inspired to join together as a community of artists that are powerful enough to stand against injustice together, and to speak against it.
She closed her speech with a powerful statement: “Fuck ICE”.
Kehlani doubled down on her statement by sharing how artists live under a microscope, and using that wisely is an important tool as an artist, “a group of us using it wisely, is pretty unstoppable”.
