Los Angeles, California (July 22, 2025)- Emerging urban artist JOTAERRE presents his most recent single “ESPÍRITU,” a track that reaffirms his distinctive sound and musical approach. In this new release, the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and producer explores the tension between physical desire and spiritual connection, delivering a provocative and unfiltered performance that highlights his evolving artistic voice.
“ESPÍRITU” begins with the foundational beats of traditional trap but quickly breaks form. As the track progresses, it undergoes a striking sonic transformation with accelerated rhythms and energetic layers that elevate the overall intensity. This shift mirrors the duality of the song’s core theme and showcases JOTAERRE’s versatility as both a producer and performer.
Accompanying the release is a music video directed by Javi Shoot, maintaining the visual language familiar from JOTAERRE’s previous projects. Set entirely at night in various urban settings—including rooftops, tunnels, and an elevator—the video uses a warm palette of golden and orange hues to create an intimate atmosphere. Joaquín Lorenzo Rodríguez-Ema, known artistically as JOTAERRE, was born on February 11, 2004, in Puerto Rico. A natural creative raised in a musical family, he discovered his passion for songwriting while improvising with friends during school. Over time, his sound evolved to include elements of reggaeton, house, EDM, and trap. A student of Berklee College of Music’s online program, JOTAERRE is signed to Fly Empire Music and Rimas Music. His debut album “Todo Está Bien,” released in July 2024, features 15 tracks that span genres and showcase his ability to experiment without losing connection to his roots. With 36 singles in his discography and standout collaborations such as “Un Viaje” with Alejo, Moffa, and Karol G, JOTAERRE continues to solidify his place among the new generation of Latin music artists. “ESPÍRITU” is now available on all digital platforms.
