“OSA MAYOR” (Ursa Major) begins with an intimate spoken-word intro by Janeth herself, where she explains the profound origin of the album’s title. This constellation, predominantly visible in the northern skies, symbolizes strength and resilience for Valenzuela – two indispensable virtues that have guided every step of her 17-year musical journey. Yet, beyond its astronomical beauty, the album represents something far deeper: its seven prominent stars serve as a metaphor for the seven fundamental pillars that have illuminated her life and career.
For Janeth, each star represents a distinct light on her path. Elaborating on the album’s title, Janeth explained: “I am from the north, and my first viral videos were in Chihuahua. The constellation represents strength and resilience, two virtues that have sustained me on this journey.
