To lead this significant organizational shift, Ryan Hyeong Woo Noh has been promoted to Chief Business Officer (CBO) of HYBE America. Noh, who previously served as Chief Strategy Officer, will oversee HLS from the company’s Los Angeles office. HYBE America CEO and Chairman Isaac Lee described the launch as a “pivotal moment in our global strategy,” noting that centralizing these “essential global support functions” will provide artists with an “unparalleled platform for continued worldwide success.”
The HLS initiative is divided into two critical divisions, both headed by veterans reporting directly to CBO Noh:
- Global Distribution will be led by Mike Rittberg, appointed as President of Global Distribution. Rittberg, previously COO of HYBE America subsidiary Big Machine Label Group, will manage the strategic distribution of the company’s extensive catalog and new releases globally.
- Global M&P (Marketing & Promotion) will be overseen by Mark Flaherty, who joins as President of Global M&P. Flaherty brings experience from top posts at companies like Warner Records, Sony Music, and Interscope, and will be responsible for maximizing worldwide marketing strategies and fan engagement.
CBO Noh emphasized the division’s role in helping HYBE’s artists “stand at the very center of the global market,” reflecting the company’s focused commitment to building a robust and unified global infrastructure. The creation of HYBE Label Service solidifies HYBE America’s ambition to be a dominant, fully integrated global entertainment player.
