UK pop icon Robbie Williams is officially bringing his high-octane showmanship back down under. This November, the “Angels” singer will embark on a massive stadium run across Australia and New Zealand in support of his 13th studio album, Britpop.
The tour marks several major milestones, including Williams’ first-ever performance in Newcastle and his highly anticipated return to Christchurch after 25 years. He will also have the honor of being the first international artist to perform at Christchurch’s brand-new One New Zealand Stadium.
“Australia and New Zealand have always had a very special place in my heart,” Williams said. “I’m beyond excited to be coming back this November for the BRITPOP World Tour. Can’t wait to see you all there!”
The Album: A Tribute to the ’90s
Released in January 2026, Britpop is a guitar-driven love letter to the era that launched Williams’ solo career. The album is packed with heavyweight collaborations, including:
- “Rocket” featuring Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi
- “Morrissey” co-written with Gary Barlow
- “Cocky” featuring Gaz Coombes (Supergrass)
- “Human” featuring Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy
- Chris Martin (Coldplay) on additional writing/production duties.
A Poignant Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne
The tour announcement follows an emotional appearance at the 2026 BRIT Awards, where Williams led a star-studded tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne. Fronting a supergroup that included Zakk Wylde and Robert Trujillo, Williams performed a heavy rendition of “No More Tears” as Sharon and Kelly Osbourne accepted a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award for the rock legend.
