Miami is preparing for one of the most anticipated events in Latin music: Billboard Latin Music Week 2025. From October 20–25, the city will host panels, showcases, and performances that highlight the diversity of the genre. ONErpm is stepping into the spotlight with “El Nuevo Sonido de Cuba” and a star-studded lineup of artists.
A Multisensory Celebration of Cuban Music
The centerpiece of ONErpm’s programming is “El Nuevo Sonido de Cuba,” described as “a multisensory experience in the heart of Miami.” This pop-up event will take place on Monday, October 20, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 2312 North Miami Avenue. Visitors can explore a curated gallery that revisits Cuba’s most influential musical eras, enjoy authentic Cuban coffee, and listen to a playlist featuring contemporary artists who are carrying the island’s legacy forward. Moreover, the event blends art, history, and music to showcase how Cuban culture continues to inspire new generations.

Beyond this cultural activation, ONErpm’s roster will shine throughout the week. Olga Tañón, known as La Mujer de Fuego, will join a panel on cumbia and tropical music. Meanwhile, Puerto Rican artist ALEJO will perform at the Peermusic Showcase at The Stardust Lounge, bringing his reggaetón and trap-infused style to Miami Beach. Grupo 5, one of Peru’s most influential cumbia groups, will appear at the Billboard Latin Music Conference. Lupita Infante, granddaughter of the legendary Pedro Infante, will also take part, representing the new wave of regional Mexican music.
Rising Voices and Legendary Figures
The lineup continues with rising Indie/Alt Pop voice Baltazar Lora, reggaetón pioneer J Álvarez, and Colombian performer Joaquin Guillér. Each artist brings a unique perspective, ensuring that ONErpm’s presence reflects both tradition and innovation. As a result, the company demonstrates its commitment to supporting established icons while elevating emerging talent.
By combining cultural storytelling with live performances, ONErpm reaffirms its role as a leading platform for Latin music. For fans, industry leaders, and newcomers alike, this year’s Latin Music Week offers a chance to experience the past, present, and future of the genre in one unforgettable week.
