Testing the AI’s discovery capabilities, the user asked for new music suggestions and was impressed when the AI served up a list of under-the-radar punk bands, Broadway tracks, and vintage Ella Fitzgerald B-sides, many of which the user enjoyed.
The application’s song-hunting feature proved equally powerful. When asked to find an obscure Sesame Street song based only on a vague description (“Ernie and a pigeon who played saxophone”), ChatGPT instantly located the classic “Put Down the Duckie.”
Finally, the review highlighted the AI’s playlist-making prowess. ChatGPT successfully generated two distinct lists: the energetic “Highway Punk” for driving and the multi-generational “Jazz Hands & Juice Boxes,” a toddler-friendly mix that included Louis Armstrong alongside the Bluey theme, much to the satisfaction of the parent reviewer.
The integration demonstrates that AI is becoming a powerful, practical assistant for music discovery, personalized curation, and managing listening history.
