Tour al Sol 2026: A Musical Journey Honoring the Classic Hits of Carlos Vives

Columbian artist and icon Carlos Vives has recently announced his 2026 tour, Tour al Sol, where he will be traveling to cities in Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico. The tour will commemorate more than thirty years of Vives’ career, and will include memorable, soulful moments that highlight the classics of La Provencia. The tour will be presented by Cárdenas Marketing Network (CMN).

Spotify, CMN, and The Artist pre-sales were released on Thursday, November 13th at 10:00 AM local time to Friday, November 14th at 9:59 AM local time. Tour al Sol transcends the idea of a typical concert tour; it simultaneously follows the path of the sun and presents itself as a magical musical journey. Each show of Tour al Sol will be held from sunrise to sunset. Sunrise will symbolize light, hope, and new beginnings. Midday will highlight rejuvenating energy and joy. Lastly, sunset will mark a time for reflection, magic, and nostalgia. Vives will sing his musical history and include his greatest hits and classics, including La Tierra del Olvido, honoring thirty years since its release.

Vives stated that Tour al Sol would be one of the most significant tours of his career. Other than La Tierra del Olvido, Vives will also pay tribute to another classic, El Último Disco; in which the concert will have the iconic sun of La Provincia hanging overhead. The sun of La Provincia will rise before the show and transfer its energy into the evening, marking a very symbolic production and unforgettable experience.

Tour al Sol 2026 honors more than three decades of vallenatos, authentic Columbian rhythm, and the pure elation that Vives has brought to many stages worldwide. This musical journey will be an opportunity to merit celebration, nostalgia, and the remarkable sound and passion of Latin music.
