Los Angeles, California (August 21, 2025)- This week, acclaimed Mexican artist Carlos Rivera officially presented his new non-profit organization, the “Fundación Te Soñé por Carlos Rivera.” The foundation was launched with a gala dinner in Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Rivera’s birthplace.
The foundation, which translates to “I Dreamed of You,” is a heartfelt tribute to the singer’s roots and a commitment to protecting and celebrating Mexican identity, culture, and art. Rivera stated, “Here, dreams are not just dreamed: they are cared for, honored, and made real.”
The mission of the foundation is to preserve the essence of Mexico, promote art as a form of expression, and connect with roots to build a future that is more conscious and prouder of its heritage. The foundation seeks to strike a balance between honoring the past and building the future, viewing art and beauty not as mere adornments but as tools for inspiration and transformation.
Carlos Rivera is dedicated to using his platform to make a positive impact beyond the stage. He believes the foundation will serve as an inspiring force in protecting Mexican culture and creating a future that values its history, celebrates its diversity, and recognizes art as a tool for transcendence.
