On Thursday morning (Jan. 8), the 16-time Grammy winner unveiled plans for his Romantic Tour, a global stadium run hitting major cities this April in North America, Canada, and Europe. Stretching through mid-October, the announcement arrives alongside news of his long-awaited new album “The Romantic,” which releases Feb. 27th.
With a stacked roster, Mars is bringing his Silk Sonic bandmate, who will appear at every date, alongside RAYE, Victoria Monét, and Leon Thomas, who will rotate as supporting acts. A pre-sale designated for fans starts on Jan. 14th on Mars’ website, and general tickets follow suit the next day.
The release of his tour and album is a major return to the solo spotlight for Mars. “The Romantic” will be his first solo studio album in a decade, following the success of 2016’s “24K Magic.” The artist hasn’t remained stagnant during his break from the direct spotlight.
In 2025, his duet with Lady Gaga, “Die With a Smile,” and collaboration with ROSÉ, “APT.” both landed in Billboard’s end of the year Top 100, both being in the Top 10.
Mars’ success this past year is a reminder of his place as one of the most influential pop and R&B artists since his debut album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans,” which was released almost 16 years ago. When Bruno Mars makes a move, pop tends to follow.
