Bruno Crolot is exiting Believe less than a year after joining the France-based music company, adding another senior-level change to a period of transition for the digital music group.
Crolot confirmed on Monday that he has stepped down as President of Label & Artist Solutions and is in the process of wrapping up his time at the company. He only took on the role last summer, after leaving Spotify, where he had spent close to a decade in senior international leadership positions.
His move to Believe was first reported in 2025, and he officially started in June with responsibility for the company’s Label & Artist Solutions division, including its commercial performance. The job also put him in a close working relationship with Believe’s regional teams and with TuneCore, the company’s DIY distribution arm.
In a LinkedIn post announcing his departure, Crolot described his time at Believe as “intense and enlightening,” and said he is now looking toward a new challenge. He thanked Believe founder and CEO Denis Ladegaillerie and Global Head of Music Romain Vivien, and said he plans to reconnect with industry contacts in the coming weeks, starting around the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Before joining Believe, Crolot built a long career at Spotify. He joined the company in 2016 as General Manager for France and Benelux, overseeing its strategy across several European markets, before being promoted in 2021 to Senior Director, Head of International Music.
Earlier in his career, he ran the Midem conference in Cannes for five years and previously held roles at Universal Music, Sony Music, Orange, and French ISP Noos.
Crolot’s departure comes as Believe reshuffles its senior leadership. Last week, TuneCore CEO Andreea Gleeson told staff she will step away from day-to-day operations and move into a strategic advisory role at Believe. The company has since said TuneCore will be overseen by Romain Vivien alongside senior executives, including Brian Miller and Luxi Huang.
With multiple senior changes in a short span of time, Believe is entering another reset as it fine-tunes its structure across label services and artist distribution.
