The legendary frontman was candid about his medical journey, which was documented in the 2024 Hulu series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story. He revealed that one of his vocal cords was atrophied, affecting his singing ability and threatening his career. He stated he would not return to the stage until he was confident he could deliver a full two-and-a-half-hour show, prioritizing the band’s legacy over a premature return.

In a statement, Jon Bon Jovi shared his excitement and gratitude: “There is a lot of joy in this announcement… I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring. I’m ready and excited!”
The Live Nation run begins with four shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 7, before heading overseas to hit Edinburgh, Dublin, and finally London’s Wembley Stadium. General onsale for tickets begins October 31, with presales starting October 27.
The tour announcement coincides with the release of the band’s latest project, Forever (Legendary Edition), a collaborative reimagining of their 2024 album. The special release, featuring duets with friends like Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, and Robbie Williams, was described by Jon Bon Jovi as “an album borne out of necessity” created during his period of vocal recovery.
