Los Angeles, California (April 24, 2025) — Colombian superstar Blessd continues to solidify his global impact with the release of “AMISTA,” his latest solo single, a song that represents one of the most personal and emotional moments of his career. Produced by his frequent collaborator, Ovy On The Drums, and co-written with Keityn, “AMISTA” marks the third time this creative trio has joined forces following the success of “Mírame.”
With a flawless blend of heartfelt lyrics and enveloping reggaetón rhythms, Blessd explores the pain of lost love. The song, filled with nostalgia, regret, and hope, allows listeners to dive into the artist’s vulnerability. “It’s real life,” Blessd explained. “It talks about loving someone, making mistakes, and carrying all of that inside.” His goal, according to the artist, was to create an experience that not only hurts but also connects and comforts those who have gone through the same thing.
The official video, directed by Deivy P, complements this emotional narrative with powerful cinematography. Set in a church, it shows Blessd preparing for a wedding that never happens. Through visual metaphors such as an empty aisle, a burning bouquet, and memories projected on the walls, the clip rawly and beautifully illustrates the experience of being left behind, caught between love and mourning.
In a tribute to his roots, Blessd drew inspiration from the classic vallenato “Una Hoja en Blanco” by Omar Geles, a song from his childhood that marked his connection to music from an early age. This fusion of traditional genres with the contemporary energy of reggaetón showcases his ability to bridge generations and styles, reaffirming his identity as an innovative artist deeply connected to his culture.
Born in Medellín as Stiven Mesa Londoño, Blessd has not only conquered digital platforms and music charts but also earned recognition at international awards. His influence extends beyond music, as he has become one of the youngest owners of a professional soccer club and organizer of Si Sabe Fest, a sporting event with figures like Ronaldinho, reinforcing his role as a key figure in the “sportstainment” movement.
“AMISTA” is now available on all digital platforms and promises to become another milestone for Blessd, who continues to elevate Latin urban music with every step he takes.
