Los Angeles, California (April 17, 2025) – Beto Cuevas presents Beto Cuevas Acústico, a live album that reinterprets some of the most iconic moments of his career, both as a solo artist and as the frontman of La Ley, while simultaneously opening a new creative phase. Recorded at the Teatro Teletón in Santiago, Chile, under the direction of renowned producer Humberto Gatica, this project revives the essence of La Ley’s legendary MTV Unplugged — a 2001 production that marked a turning point in Latin rock — but with a fresh, honest, and deeply emotional vision.
Beyond nostalgia, Beto Cuevas Acústico offers a reconnection with music from an intimate and essential perspective. At the heart of the album shines “Todo Es Perfecto,” an entirely new song in which Cuevas shares the microphone with Javiera Flores, a young Chilean artist who has captivated audiences with her powerful voice. Created especially for this project, the song reflects the spirit of the album: the transformation of pain into beauty, the power of vulnerability, and the search for meaning amid emptiness. “This song didn’t exist before. It was born for this moment, for this format, and Javiera gave it a special light. It’s about finding beauty even in loss,” Beto explains.
With subtle string and guitar arrangements, produced with Gatica’s characteristic refinement, Beto Cuevas Acústico serves as a bridge between the artist’s past and present. The album also includes new versions of anthems like “Mentira,” “Vuelvo,” “Aquí,” “Fuera de Mí,” and a powerful rendition of “El Duelo” alongside Ely Guerra, a collaboration that highlights the emotional intensity of the project.
The audience’s response was immediate. Performances in Chile, including three sold-out shows at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, were met with standing ovations, demonstrating that the songs still resonate deeply in the hearts of their followers.
The album will be available in Dolby Atmos format for an immersive sound experience and will feature a limited edition vinyl, designed for collectors and fans who have supported Beto throughout his career. With upcoming dates to be announced in Mexico and other Latin American countries, Beto Cuevas Acústico stands as one of the most solid and authentic projects of the year.
Recognized as one of the key figures in Latin rock, Beto Cuevas has left an indelible mark with albums like Invisible, Vértigo, and the legendary MTV Unplugged by La Ley, which won a Latin GRAMMY. His solo career has been equally acclaimed, with works like Miedo Escénico and Transformación, the latter also awarded by the Latin Recording Academy. In addition to music, his versatility has led him to shine in musical theater with his performance in Jesus Christ Superstar. Now, with Beto Cuevas Acústico, he reaffirms his relevance and commitment to an honest artistic proposal, celebrating the emotional as an act of resistance.
