Los Angeles, California (July 7, 2025)- Alex Warren continues his impressive run atop the Billboard Hot 100, as his breakout hit “Ordinary” claims its fifth consecutive week at No. 1. Released via Atlantic Records, the track remains a force across streaming, radio, and sales metrics, confirming Warren’s emergence as a dominant new voice in pop.
“Ordinary” tallied 20.2 million official U.S. streams (up 2%), 69.7 million in radio airplay audience impressions (up 9%), and 7,000 downloads sold (up 3%) in the tracking week of June 27 to July 3. The single holds steady at No. 2 on the Streaming Songs chart, notches a third week at No. 1 on Radio Songs, and rebounds to No. 1 on Digital Song Sales for an eighth total week. It also maintains its grip on the No. 1 spot of the Songs of the Summer chart, where it has ruled all six weeks since the seasonal list returned in May.
Meanwhile, country star Morgan Wallen continues to rewrite chart history with his unmatched consistency. He logs his fifth week in 2025 with at least three songs in the Hot 100’s top five, tying Kendrick Lamar for the most such weeks in a single year among soloists. On the latest chart, Wallen’s “What I Want,” featuring Tate McRae, holds firm at No. 2, “Just in Case” climbs from No. 4 to No. 3, and “I’m the Problem” remains at No. 5. Only The Beatles, with eight weeks during their explosive run in 1964, have managed more weeks with three or more concurrent top-five hits.
Wallen also continues to dominate the Hot Country Songs chart, with “What I Want” logging a seventh week at No. 1 and “I’m the Problem”’s parent album holding strong atop the Billboard 200 for a seventh week. Notably, this marks Wallen’s 28th week overall with at least five songs in the top 10 of Hot Country Songs—more than any other artist in the chart’s history.
Elsewhere in the Hot 100, Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” jumps 7-4, keeping momentum after its record-tying 19-week run at No. 1 last year. Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” stays at No. 6, marking its 28th week at No. 1 on both the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts—extending the longest reign on the R&B/Hip-Hop tally since its inception in 1958.
Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” slips to No. 7, after debuting at No. 1 just three weeks ago. Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” rises one spot to No. 8, now boasting a record-extending 68 weeks in the top 10 and 98 weeks overall on the Hot 100—more than any other track in chart history.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” drops from No. 8 to No. 9, but extends its own record as the longest-charting top 10 song by a woman, now at 45 weeks. The song also surpasses The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” as the longest top 10 run for a collaboration.
Rounding out the top 10 is Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” which returns to the upper tier at No. 10. While Warren’s “Ordinary” remains the week’s top-selling download, Roan’s “The Giver” is the overall top-selling song, thanks to a vinyl release that spiked sales to 57,000 units. The track reenters the Hot 100 at No. 43 after previously peaking at No. 5.
As the summer chart season heats up, Alex Warren and Morgan Wallen continue to lead the charge, each setting milestones that highlight the evolving landscape of modern music—where viral hits, genre-blending sounds, and cross-generational fanbases are reshaping what it means to top the charts.
