New Appearances and Projects
September 18 was a lucky day for fans of the Puerto Rican reggaetón rising artist Alejo, who dropped his newest single “PUESTOPAKPASE” just as he was announced as the latest artist to join the lineup for the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Week, taking place from October 20 to 24.
Upcoming Album
The single reflects much of Alejo’s typical reggaetón style, with his sound occupying the more dark, melodic corner of the genre. The song was produced by the artist’s frequent producer pals Huertas and Baez, who will continue to collaborate with him going into his upcoming 2026 album, which has been teased solely with the phrase “from PR to Punto Nemo.”

Young Star
After his breakthrough collaboration with Feid and Robi on “Pantysito,” Alejo’s Billboard Latin Music Week feature at Fillmore Miami Beach is well-earned as the Boricua artist carves out a space for himself in the resurging urban genre as one of the more sudden rises of the new wave of younger artists inspired to take up the sound.
